FAQ
Close roll hold option FAQ
Does the tool tell me what trade to make?
No. It provides educational decision support using transparent rules and visitor-entered inputs. It is not individualized investment advice.
Is rolling always better than taking a loss?
No. Rolling closes the current position and opens a new one. A roll can help only if the new trade has a valid thesis and acceptable reward-to-risk from today.
Why can closing be a good result?
Closing can release capital, remove risk, and prevent a weak thesis from consuming more attention or buying power.
What if I do not know current IV or assignment risk?
The result should be treated as incomplete. The tool flags unknown inputs instead of making up data.
